Administration

The Heavy Equipment Certification Centre affirms the worth of all staff and students. We will encourage all parties to value each other and show respect for diversity, and other differences. This provides a safe environment, free from expressions of hate and workplace violence.

Environmental Education

Our program will prioritise and educate students about keeping our excavation footprint to a minimum. Safe environmental practices and education on work around lakes, streams,  ponds and protected wetlands.

Education on the four different soil types gives the student a great awareness of the consequences that can occur if proper planning and procedures are not followed. We also discuss the regulations required to complete excavations around water areas.

The Planning of a Path to Higher Skills

The student's education does not stop after graduating from our course. More will be required in the future as technology is migrated into the construction industry.

For example, blue print reading courses are recommended, computer grade control courses allow for more productivity, job costing data, all other topics. This keeps the student up-to-date with technology.
